The Tshilli Farm is situated 20km outside of Maun, in Ngamiland the north-western corner of Botswana. The Tshilli Farm is within a community area along the buffalo fence called Tsutsubega on the edge of the Okavango Delta and only a 35-minute drive on sand roads from Maun airport. The Tshilli Farm itself is on an island surrounded by a floodplain and consists of different vegetation areas including an ancient forest, sage fields and scrub as well as pans of water. This permaculture farm is fenced and is a perfectly safe area but two wildlife concessions neighbour the farm.

Accommodation consists of semi-open chalets built on stilts, complete with a basic en-suite bathrooms with hot showers. A mixture of reed thatching, net screens and canvas are used as wall enclosures and each chalet has a small deck.

The main area includes a dining area, small curio shop and lounge area. There is a seated bar area located down by the floodplain, where guests can enjoy beautiful sunsets. A small natural swimming reservoir adds to the rustic farm lifestyle.

The fully inclusive rate at the Tshilli Farm includes game drives and safari walks. Activities available AT ADDITIONAL COST include mokoro excursions, cultural visits and boat cruises (water activities are water-level dependent).  Bookings accommodatied on a full board & half board basis do not include any activities.  Should guests wish to add activities, we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
