Located a relaxed one hour 30 minutes drive from Maun towards Moremi Game Reserve, Duncan’s Camp allows a first taste of the Okavango Delta on your way into the parks. The rustic simplicity of the camp is deliberate and comfort, cleanliness and affordability are key.

Duncan’s Camp offers eight dome tents on wooden decks and can accommodate 16 people in total. The sleeping area is 3m x 3m with twin beds (each tent sleeps two) and is equipped with a comfortable mattress, full linen, pillows and towels. The en suite bathroom has a shower, hand basin and chemical toilet. All tents are fitted with solar lights.

The main area offers a relaxed and informal setting where guests can relax and enjoy what the wilderness surrounding has to offer. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinners in the dining area (meals must be pre- booked).

A short 20 minute drive from the camp takes you through the Mowana vet fence and into the concession areas before South Gate. The camp is thus perfectly positioned for day drives to Xakanaxa, Boudematau and Khwai. Guided game drives offered (at additional cost) include a picnic lunch.

The temptation to do a bit of catch and release fishing on the lagoon or spend the day bird watching or out on a guided walk in the wilderness might overcome the need to move. All activities must be pre- booked.

Self drives: The five kilometre track to the camp has patches of soft sand and will require a 4X4, particularly in the dry season, June to November.
