The Mana Shoreline Walking Safari is a 3 night safari starting on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Activities are conducted by a fully licensed, armed professional guide. The daily routine is generalised and can change depending on current animal movements and/or river conditions to optimise the safari experience.

Safaris are fully backed-up with a few deserved luxuries and the overnight camps are moved daily. Guests enjoy the services of a fully qualified professional guide, who, as well as guiding clients by canoe on the Zambezi River, will lead guests on guided walks or game drives through the National Park.

Guests are woken early with warm water placed in a basin outside your tent while freshly brewed coffee is prepared on the campfire. Following the morning meal, guests will set out on safari with options of going for an early morning walk or game drive before breakfast or, for the fisherman, there is time to pull out a rod.

During the safari, the camp staff will wait until the guests’ departure to break camp and transfer equipment to the next campsite ready for guests’ arrival. Guests should carry a small daypack with essentials such as sun block, camera and spare memory cards, hat and binoculars.

As the camps are mobile, they do not have permanent ablution facilities, but guests are catered for with long drop toilets and for night-use, all tents have an ensuite chemical toilet. Showers, open to the star-studded African Sky, are provided by hot water in bucket showers.
