Nasikia presents Kaskaz Mara Camp, a short drive from Kogatende Airstrip and the exciting Mara River viewing area. The ten tented suites are superbly located to provide a indulgent base for optimal migration viewing all through out the year. With large netted windows and draped roofing in each suite for Serengeti-style air conditioning, cotton curtains dancing on the breeze, oversized beds, indoor and out door furnishings of style, expansive floor space, great hardwood double vanities, handcarved decor with Swahili flair; the camp proposes style and grace in the far northern Serengeti. The camp is available for drive in or game package clients, all while taking special care to illustrate the unique environment they are welcomed to. Tailoring the tents to group configurations from honeymooners to larger families, the camp personnel are on call 24 hours to ensure that everyone is content in their stunning environment.
The double suites have one king size bed along with lounge area with coffee table, dressing area, writing desk, ensuite bathrooms with separate toilet and shower cubicles.
Tailoring the tents to group configurations from honeymooners to larger families, the camp personnel are on call 24 hours to ensure that everyone is content in their stunning environment. The ten tented suites have a layout to take advantage of the natural protection of the crescent treeline in which they stand. The camp showcases a view to magical sunrises to the east, and a short walk behind the camp allows for a G&T in hand as the sunsets over a distant Kenya below. Each tent also has an outdoor stargazing lounge to lay back and watch the infinite night sky.
The Family Suites have one king size bed and two beds for two parents and two children sharing together in one suite. There is one ensuite bathroom to share for the whole family. One tent has an extra divide between parent/children beds for additional privacy if required.
The decor for each tent is based on a natural element of the surrounding environment, highlight with traditional fabrics from Tanzania - from birds to grass, fruit or landscaped views. All furniture throughout the camp is handmade in our own workshop in Arusha - washstands, room dividers, beds, desks, lounges, chairs and so on.
The twin suites have two large sized bed along with lounge area, tea/coffee sitting area, writing desk and more.

At the end of the camp, facing south-east is the inter-connected tents. Joined together with a wooden platform to allow groups or families to interact privately and away from the main part of the camp. The view from the platform is incredible and wildlife often wander freely within view. The same double and twin configurations and decor apply, it is simply an inter-connected option for those who require.
