Bordering the western side of the Chobe National Park, Muchenje Cottages is located close to the Ngoma Entrance of the park, 50 minutes drive from Kasane and 2 hours drive from Victoria Falls. Set amongst beautiful trees, the secure, tranquil property is well positioned as a stopover for travellers visiting the Chobe National Park, Linyanti and Savuti regions as well as the Caprivi area of Namibia.

Three self catering cottages offer an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower and a covered verandah.

The communal area features a swimming pool, sundowner terrace, thatched bush chapel and a small shop where very basic supplies such as firewood, ice, seasonal vegetables and meat can be purchased. A laundry service is available at additional cost. 

Activities that may be arranged at additional cost include game drives in the Chobe National Park, night drives outside of the park and day trips to Victoria Falls.

Chobe / Ngoma Gate
This property is located near the Ngoma Gate for entry to the Chobe Riverfront.  Very few campsites and lodges are located on this end of the park and few people utilize this entry point, creating a more remote and exclusive experience than at the properties around Kasane.  Although outside the park, this option is located in a bush setting where wildlife and birding are plentiful.
