This Exploration reveals the life-filled summer season of Botswana, in prime areas where few people travel. The journey begins in the Kalahari Desert in its most abundant season when sporadic summer rains cause wildlife to migrate into the desert valleys in large numbers. The grasslands and floodplains of the Okavango are then explored in two very distinctive areas: a wealth of plains game and predators can be found in the dryer Gomoti region while at Xigera the more typical floodplains and channels of the Okavango are revealed in all their glory. The journey ends with a cruise down the Chobe River with the world-famous Victoria Falls on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River your grande finale.
