Mokolwane Camp, named after the famous Mokolwane Palm tree is located in the private Xudum concession in the Okavango Delta.
The camp has 7 canvas tents build on 10 feet high platforms. Six twin tents and one family unit. Each tent has a view of the Matsebi river which afford guests spectacular vistas especially when the floods arrive. The en-suite bathrooms have an indoor shower, flush toilets and are equipped with mosquito nets and fans.
The main area has a communal lounge and dining area, also built on a raised wooden platform. There is also a firepit where guests can enjoy story-telling and exceptional stargazing after dinner.
Activities are mainly focused on game drives in the morning, afternoon and into the evening. The concession has much to offer in terms of the diversity of wildlife inhabiting the area.
At an additional cost, guest can book scenic flights over the Okavango Delta.
The camp is only accessible by a 30 minute helicopter transfer from Maun.
