Nambwa Lodge is situated in the heart of the Kavango Zambezi Trans Frontier Conservation Area (KAZA) and is part of the large Peace Park initiative.
Honouring the elephants’ right of way, a raised timber walkway meanders through the trees and joins the ten tented suites. Each 110 square meter suite is built in the tree tops and is tastefully decorated with natural colours. The en- suite bathroom has both a shower and bath and the suite opens out onto a spacious viewing deck.
Nambwa Lodge creates a perfect fusion of energy and relaxation. A library with a mixture of vintage artifacts and books, as well as small relics found on site while building the lodge on this historical military area, all encourage guests to explore. The outdoor restaurant delivers tasteful meals with rewarding views of the floodplains below.
Activities offered include day & night game drives, bush walks, boat cruises & mokoro trips (seasonal and water level dependant), cultural village visits and bush breakfasts. (at an additional cost if not on fully inclusive basis).
