Situated in the Kasika Conservancy on the eastern edge of the Caprivi – now named the Zambezi Region, Chobe Water Villas perches on the Namibian bank of the famed Chobe River.
Elevated on stilts with own terraced decks extending over the Chobe River, each of the 16 tasteful rooms has a lounge and bedroom area with an above bed air cooling unit, a thoughtfully appointed en suite bathroom with separate bath, shower and toilet, tea/ coffee making facilities and a mini bar.
The elegant central spaces of Chobe Water Villas are made up of the indoor lounge and library, a creatively designed indoor restaurant, infinity pool deck complete with lounge and sunbathing areas, outdoor dining venues, gas fire conversation pit and firepits on the river’s edge.
The Chobe riverbank teems with game and birds during most seasons. Game drives take place in the Chobe National Park while boat cruises navigate both the Chobe and Zambezi rivers. A variety of activities available at additional cost include cultural tours, a Victoria Falls daytrip, fishing charters and photographic river safaris.
Please note: Activities in the Chobe National Park require guests to exit Namibia and enter Botswana to access the park. Should additional activities in the Chobe National Park other than those included in the nightly rate be booked, all cross-border and visa fees will also be at additional cost.
Chobe River / Caprivi This property is located on the Chobe River but within Namibia’s Caprivi Strip, requiring guests to check into Namibia for the duration of their stay. The Chobe experience here is all about being on the river and watching the wildlife congregate at the riverbanks. Guests wanting to game drive in Chobe National Park will need to re-enter Botswana in order to do this, usually at an extra cost.
