Khutse Kalahari Lodge is situated at the eastern gate of the Khutse Game Reserve, just a three hour drive, 220 kms north-west from Gabarone, and is the final frontier before entering the renowned Central Kalahari Desert and Central Kalahari Game Reserve.

The lodge has 24 thatched en-suite rondavels, with either double or twin beds. Two of the 24 rondavels are suited for families. Simple, yet stylish decor, ensure maximum comfort and opulence whilst remaining right on nature's doorstep.

The main lodge is situated on the highest point in the area with an elevated bar and deck which allows for a spectacular panoramic views over the surrounding bush and waterhole. There is a swimming pool where guests can cool off in the heat of the desert.

Activities on offer are a complete range of bush experiences. From game drives into the reserve, fly camping, guided nature walks that interpret the tracks and signs of the wild and the popular bush breakfast. All activities are focussed into the Khutse Game Reserve. Absorb the local culture and traditions of the San (Basarwa) people by enjoying a bushman experience and reflect on centuries of the local history of the land.

The lodge is only reachable by 4x4 and therefore gives the outdoor enthusiast an unparalleled encounter with the bus.
