Nestled in the basin of an ancient amphitheatre divided by riverine woodlands and elephant trails lies an exclusive private game lodge.
The central guest areas include 2 lounges, a bar, cocktail bar, a dining room and a feature rock pool. Small intimate guest areas have been created to retain warmth and seclusion for individual guests. Sweeping patios provide the ideal venue for delicious continental and English breakfasts and light buffet luncheons with the boma reserved for fire-side dinners (weather permitting).
The award winning wellness centre presents a wide variety of treatment options designed to relax mind, body and soul. The unique design and position of the treatment rooms ensure uninterrupted views of the reserve.
The lodge accommodates a maximum of 130 guests in 60 standard rooms and 4 luxury suites, each including en-suite bathroom and outside shower, climate-control air conditioner, mini bar fridge and a tea and coffee making facility as well as our newest additions - a executive suite to spoil you endlessly and a family suite.
Striving to maintain high levels of personal attention and guest comfort, game drive vehicles are custom built ensuring optimal panoramic visibility. Amongst the most experienced in the Pilanesberg, our rangers and hosts are committed to bringing you close encounters with a wide variety of big game, including the big 5, cheetah and wild dog, during morning and evening game drives.
60 twin bedded suites. Each beautifully decorated with African-inspired décor – the Standard rooms also feature an outdoor sitting area, and a further range of amenities for your pleasure. Two guests can be comfortably accommodated with either a two-single-bed or one-king-size-bed configuration, and each room has an en-suite bathroom, with the adventurous offer of an outdoor shower.
4 suites. Each of the four Luxury Suites features a range of amenities for your comfort and enjoyment, as well as a relaxing outdoor sitting area, a lounge with a flat-screen TV, and a fireplace for chilly bushveld evenings. All of the Luxury Suites offer a private plunge pool. These Suites are all tastefully decorated with African décor and come with a king-size, four-poster bed and an en-suite bathroom.
The Family Suite has two bedrooms with a family lounge separating them with doors opening up onto a outdoor area with a plung pool to cool off during those hot summer days. The main suite has a king size bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. The suite comes with an outdoor shower and an indoor bath.
The Pilane Villa is made up of four Standard rooms in a central area. Accommodating up to eight adults, the villa is available for exclusive-use. Guests then have access to a recreational area, as well as their own, private game drive vehicle.
The Kosher Villa at Ivory Tree offers a Kosher Kitchen, private dining and lounge area with a private pool and a private vehicle and guide for the duration of your stay. The Kosher chef and supervisor will serve 3 meals a day. The new kitchen is exclusively for Kosher use; is segregated for meat and milk and will remain locked when not in use.
