Tanda Tula Safari Camp is located in the heart of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, forming part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Tanda Tula is quite unique, being both owner run and one of the few tented bush camps in the area, offering a luxurious yet authentic safari experience.
Set on the banks of the Nlharalumi riverbed, Tanda Tula is shaded by majestic trees and overlooks a watering hole that attracts a great variety of wildlife. Each of the 12 tents is completely private, surrounded by lush riverine bush with a deck overlooking the riverbed. All tents have en-suite bathrooms with a Victorian bathtub and outdoor showers and feature complimentary mini bars, fan cooling and a power charging adaptor.
The main lounge area overlooks the riverbed and across to the water hole, where guests can enjoy game viewing from the deck while dining. There is a gift shop and swimming pool to while away your time between safari activities.
Tanda Tula is sanctuary to Africa’s Big Five, with traversing over more than 20,000 ha of wilderness and undisturbed biodiversity. Guests are guaranteed an incredible wildlife experience. Their highly skilled ranger and tracker teams guide guests in the early mornings and evenings, in open Land Rovers or on foot. There are a maximum of 6 guests per vehicle on all game drives.
