Malachite Tented Suites is the sister camp to Victoria Falls River Lodge, situated on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. The camp is just a short boat trip downstream from the main lodge.
Malachite has 6 air-conditioned well-appointed tents, all ensuite with both indoor and outdoor showers. The tented suites have a private deck with a plunge pool, day bed and an outdoor bathtub, where guests can enjoy the panoramic views of the Zambezi River.
The main lodge has an open plan design where guests can sit back and relax, under the shade of the thatched roof, as elephants graze alongside the river line. There are multiple seating areas at the fireplace, bar and dining area and an adjacent pool. All overlooking the mighty Zambezi River. The Tao Spa offers a range of relaxing treatments (at an additional cost).
Some of Africa’s most amazing animals are right at your doorstep. Elephants, hippo, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, impala and even the occasional cat can be viewed in the park. The lodge offers two safari activities; take a river cruise along the Zambezi or head out in a safari vehicle to explore the 150000 acres that make up the Zambezi National Park.
The lodge offers complimentary return transfers to Victoria Falls daily. Transfers to Victoria Falls town for activities booked through a third party will be charged at an additional cost where they don’t fit into the scheduled transfer times.
