Surrounded by magnificent landscapes of huge trees and floodplains, Tawana Camp is located in the Moremi Game Reserve, the heart of the Okavango Delta. The area boasts of a rich ecosystem where guests can enjoy game-viewing from their rooms or walkways around camp.
Tawana has eight spacious tents built on raised decks of which is three family rooms. Each en suite tent has a bathtub and both an indoor and outdoor shower, air conditioning above the bed and a lounge to relax. Guest can enjoy nature from their private terrace, complete with a sala area and plunge pool. Each tent has its own fitness bike, yoga mat and weights.
Raised walkways connect tents to an elegantly decorated communal lounge and dining area with a walk-in wine cellar and curio shop, as well as the 16 meter lap pool. For an authentic Tawana experience, guests can enjoy meals in an open-air dining kgotla around the fire and visit the library to learn about the history of the Moremi Game Reserve and the local Batawana tribe.
Activities includes day and night game drives. In room spa treatments are available at an additional cost.
Guests can book scenic helicopter flights over the Okavango Delta (at an additional cost).

Each suite has been thoughtfully oriented to offer perfect privacy and uninterrupted views of the Gomoti River and game-rich floodplains. Set beneath the boughs of stately ebony and sausage trees, the suites enjoy the deep shade of the lush riverine forest, creating a cool oasis of calm to retreat to between activities.
