Mokete Camp is a wildlife haven nestled in the heart of a 55 000 hectare private concession on the eastern side of the Mababe Depression. Situated on the meeting point of thick nutritious Mopane and the mystical Mababe marshland, camp is truly surrounded by the beauty of intense untouched wilderness. Mokete Camp invites you to immerse yourself in the enchanting embrace of the outdoors. The name Mokete means celebration or feast. It is a place to feast on the unexplored and celebrate the untamed.
The camp boasts nine en-suite canvas tents that are all carefully positioned to provide guests with stunning views of the surrounding stark natural beauty. Each tented suite has a retractable roof that slides away to reveal the stars. Whether you choose to unwind on your private deck and plunge pool or gather around a crackling campfire, Mokete Camp ensures a sense of freedom that rejuvenates the soul.
The tented main area and pool are connected to the rooms by ground level wooden walkways. Guests can also visit the custom built underground hide - perfect for photography. At an additional cost, guests can book a scenic helicopter flight to take in the true expanse of the region.
