Situated in the heart of Hwange National Park, Kapula Camp’s North Camp is a self catering establishment.
Accommodation comprises of 4 safari tents on raised wooden decks. Each tent boasts an ensuite bathroom with an additional outside shower. On request extra mattresses can be added for children. Kapula Camp’s North Camp can accommodate 10 adults and 8 children. Bedding, towels & mosquito nets are provided.
The main building in the centre of the camp is on a raised wooden deck. It comprises an open-plan lounge and a 12-seater dining room table, with a 180 degree view over Kapula wetland and the waterhole. There is a fully-equipped kitchen and a fire pit next to the main building. There is a plug point available, but solar powered lighting is supplied and the borehole water is safe to drink from the taps.
No meal options are offered and guests are required to bring and prepare their own food & drinks.
Kapula’s friendly staff clean and maintain the tents and main areas daily.
Since Kapula is completely self-catering they do not offer any transfers or activities.
Guests are encouraged to explore Hwange National Park at their leisure during their stay.
If clients wish to book the services of a licensed park ranger/scout, this can be arranged directly through Zimbabwe Parks & Wildlife Authority. This is a third-party service at an additional cost and should be arranged prior to arrival.
