Camp Chitubu, a sublime sanctuary nestled within the heart of Hwange National Park, standing on a ridge overlooking a natural spring. Located in the Sinamatella region of Hwange National Park, just two kilometres from Mandavu dam, the most significant water source in the park, Camp Chitubu’s focus is to give guests unforgettable experiences by vehicle and on foot by the exceptional walking.
Camp Chitubu features six Bedouin-style tents, each meticulously designed with large gauze windows, providing breathtaking floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. Additionally, a Family Bedouin-style tent, complete with shared facilities, ensures a cozy and communal experience. Each tent is equipped with flush toilets, his & her basins, and elegant brass shower sets.
The heart of Camp Chitubu's communal life beats in the main entertainment area, encompassing a dining, bar, and lounge space, complemented by an inviting open-air fire pit.
Embark on thrilling 4x4 game drives in customized open vehicles, featuring six-tiered seats for optimal viewing pleasure. USB charging ports are available for cameras and electronic devices. For those seeking an exclusive adventure, private vehicles can be arranged for an additional fee. For enthusiasts of avian wonders, birding experiences can be organized with advance notice.
