Situated inside the Ngamo Forest area, Bomani is located within a 5,000-acre private reserve, only 1.5 kilometres away from Ngamo’s entrance gate to Hwange National Park. The area was once an ancient fossil lake, which over time became submerged by Kalahari sands from the west. Today, the expansive plains are dotted with natural water pans and Ilala Palms; offering a peaceful sanctuary to the countless herds of wildlife that call the area home.
Ten large luxury tents and one sumptuous thatched bungalow. Six of the Hornbill tents roost upon spacious Zambezi teak platforms, which offer stunning views across the open grasslands. The other four Spurwing tents, along with the bungalow, are at ground level and a little closer to nature. Every tent is elegantly furnished and comfortable, each with a private en-suite bathroom, hot running water and electricity. The main lodge overlooks Bomani pan and comprises of an open dining room, bar area and lounge, built on a spectacular viewing deck.
Game activities on offer include day & night game drives, game walks, village visits, birding & full day Hwange National Park drives.
Airport Transfer Time: 3h from Vic Falls Airport to Halfway House by road + 2h to camp by safari vehicle.

The Sable Suite is our family suite is built among a grove of Camelthorn trees and slightly away from the rest of the lodge to give it some privacy. The family suite has splendid views across the Ngamo Plains with regular wildlife sightings as animals move in to drink from the nearby Bomani Pan.
The suite comprises of 2 large bedrooms (one with a king size bed and one with 2 ¾ beds), both with ensuite bathrooms which have luxurious baths, and delightful outdoor showers. There is also a large open plan lounge and dining room together to allow families to enjoy optional private dining.
Sleeps up to 6 pax comfortably (2 additional single beds can be placed into the lounge area)
Thatched Bungalow: 70 sq m thatch and stone suite with queensize bed and bunk beds with single size mattresses, overhead fans, lounge area, ensuite bathroom with shower, verandah overlooking the lodge waterhole.
