Drotskys is a small fishing lodge on the panhandle of the Okavango Delta, near Shakawe village (about 23 km from the Namibian border). Drotsky’s offers a quiet and relaxed atmosphere along the Okavango River in an area rich in birdlife as well as excellent fishing grounds, with superb opportunities for photography.

Drotskys is a long-established lodge run by the owners Jan and Eileen Drotsky, who offer personal service and a wide range of knowledge of the area and, most importantly, of fishing. Drotskys offers both a serviced campsite and six A-frame chalets. The gardens are kept lush and green and the camp is well shaded built amongst riverine trees. The chalets are thatched with simple furnishings and en-suite bathrooms and all situated on the raised bank overlooking the Okavango. The main lodge is on raised decking built into the natural surroundings with a spacious dining, lounge and bar area.
Activities concentrate on fishing, with several boats for hire along with fishing equipment and a local guide/driver. Birdlife is excellent and many hours can be spent in the well-kept gardens observing the many species found in this region of the Okavango.
