This small, intimate guest house is situated on the slope of the Small Waterberg. Your host, Harry Schneider-Waterberg, is a committed conservationist and was instrumental in establishing the Waterberg Conservancy, which includes Waterberg Guest Farm, the Waterberg Plateau Park, the Cheetah Conservation Trust (CCF) and several surrounding ranches.
The guesthouse has been converted from the original 1930’s manager’s house and contains 4 double and twin rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms (one with an additional bathtub). All rooms have their own private entrance leading out to a veranda.
The guest house has a spacious dining room and lounge. The kitchen serves a wide variety of sumptuous traditional African dishes and mouth-watering barbecues. Over dinner, your hosts can share their broad knowledge on subjects ranging from the local history and culture to conservation efforts and predator management.
The traditional African grass-roofed “lapa” next to the swimming pool offers al fresco dining and a fully stocked ‘honesty bar’ where guests can sit on the wooden deck and watch the floodlit waterhole.
In addition to the guesthouse, there are two ‘bush bungalows’ built according to the traditional Herero style and situated 160 metres from the main guesthouse. The bungalow interiors are decorated in contemporary African design and offer all the modern amenities including indoor and outdoor showers surrounded by breath-taking views.
Guests at Waterberg Guest Farm can choose from a variety of activities such as nature hikes, a visit to the neighbouring Cheetah Conservation Trust as well as an early morning or afternoon drive to the so-called “Little Serengeti”.

While the bungalows themselves are constructed with only natural materials, the interiors are decorated in contemporary African design and offer all the modern amenities to ensure your comfort.

Maxi offers ample space for a travelling family of 4, there is an inside and outside shower and an outside tub for the hot summer nights. The bungalow is fitted with an extra large double bed and a sofa bed for the kids. Terrace with a breathtaking view.
Our new bush bungalows are a unique and modern design and boast of space and breathtaking views from a terrace with seating. The room offers a king size bed with an option for an extra bed for a child sharing.
The Villa offers 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, a lounge area and a tv room with WIFI. A fire place is available on the patio. It suits a family of 4 or 4 adults. Meals can be booked separately.
