Chinzombo Camp belongs to the Norman Carr Safaris portfolio and is situated just upstream of Kapani Lodge on the banks of the Luangwa River.
The luxury main area overlooks the river and features a fire pit, lounge/dining area, bar and swimming pool on a slightly raised deck.
Gigantic, ancient shade trees offer peace and tranquillity for guests staying in any one of the six stunning villas, one of which is a family suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, perfect for families or small groups. Each villa has its own private pool, cooled sleeping areas and spacious bathroom.
The riverside location and peacefulness combined make this camp one of the most game rich areas of the valley and wildly luxurious. Activities include walking safaris and game drives.

This safari tented room has an expanded design allowing for family use and can sleep up to five guests. Tucked into the tree line overlooking the river and forest beyond, it has been designed with an exquisite eye for detail and flow - the open verandah and outdoor shower blend seamlessly with the interior spaces through a series of generously proportioned windows. Substantial bathrooms boast showers and gorgeous tubs, while the plunge pool on the private deck offers a quiet spot to cool off in the heat of the day.
Each of the Luxury Safari Tents have a private pool and soaking tub with panoramic views over the river and its abundant wildlife. The tents’ award-winning design features canvas, timber, and reed, accented with leather and raw linen. Each stretches out onto a shaded verandah where you can while away the afternoon or unwind with an in-room spa treatment.
