Robin Pope Safaris offer walking safaris with sleep-outs between their camps. The overnight camp is called Luangwa Bush Camp.
Guests usually stay at either Tena Tena or Nsefu from where they walk between the two for two or three days, camping on the way. Luangwa Bush camping is simple camping but with that extra touch of comfort. The two walk-in meru tents with mattresses on the ground, provides accommodation for a maximum of four guests at a time.
Further amenities include sheets, blankets, wash basins, shared 60 litre bucket shower and bush loo. The camp is fully services (except laundry) with a full bar and food service.
Walking is done in one of the most lagoon rich areas of the Luangwa and hence the game is superb.
