Etusis Lodge is built in the heart of a 21,000 hectare reserve in west-central Namibia, encompassing a variety of landscapes, including gently undulating savannah, rocky outcrops, and part of the Otjipatera Mountain range.
Etusis is consciously unfenced to avoid potentially supressing the natural migration of the wildlife: zebras, antelopes, leopards and many other animals have complete freedom to roam on Etusis.
Etusis has an easy guest farm air, with excellent, yet relaxed hosting and family-styled dining, where travellers can swop stories!
The lodge has created jobs for the local community and, endeavours to share the importance of the natural surroundings and the need to preserve it with all visitors.
Paved footpaths wind their way from the main building to the 7 individual bungalows dotted around nearby. Each air-conditioned, en-suite bungalow has its own identity and décor with a mini-bar, coffee/tea station and children's 'attic' accessible by a wall mounted ladder.
Additional accommodation also includes 5 safari, a self-catering farmhouse offering accommodation for between 2-7 people. For the more adventurous there is a private campsite about 20 km from the Lodge offering 5 sites with shaded parking, individual bbq areas and communal bathroom facilities.
A multitude of activities are available.
