Musangano Lodge is situated a two and a half hour drive from the capital city of Harare and is ideally located for exploring the attractions of the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe. The lodge is tucked away on the lower slopes of a tree-covered hillside, blending well into the Miombo mountain woodland that helps create a warm ethnic ambience.
Musangano Lodge’s 5 units can sleep between four and six people in the 2/3 cosy bedrooms. The units all have a lounge, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor covered veranda and a fireplace for those cold winter nights. There are also five, one-roomed chalets which have a tea-kitchenette (fridge, electric kettle, crockery and basic cutlery). The secluded and quiet gardens exude a serene atmosphere and the cosy dining room and spacious garden restaurant that serve full breakfast, a light lunch or a table d’hote dinner.
Activities available at the lodge are birding, walking, biking, hiking and cultural tours. The lodge is also nearby the Mutare Hillside golf course, Chikundu Game Park, Osborne Dam.
