Located in the Chobe Forest Reserve just 3km from the Chobe National Park (a region renowned for its outstanding wildlife, in particular the famous Chobe Elephants, and home to more than 75 mammal and 450 bird species), Ngoma Safari Lodge commands awe-inspiring views over the Chobe River and floodplains.
The lodge’s central area features an inviting lounge, dining room, and bar, along with a refreshing plunge pool overlooking the river. Accommodation consists of just eight luxurious river-facing suites and two spacious family suites, each designed to offer privacy and comfort. Every suite includes a bath, indoor and outdoor showers, a private outdoor living area, and its own “refresh and relax” pool, creating the perfect space to unwind and take in the surroundings.
Due to it’s location in the Chobe Forest Reserve, the lodge can offer night drives. Activities include a full-day safari comprising a drive in the Chobe National Park, a cruise and a picnic lunch, day or night drives, walks and birding. Visits to the local village may also be arranged.
Ngoma Safari Lodge, developed with the Chobe Enclave Conservation Trust, is committed to making a sustainable difference to the local communities and their environment.
Each of the lodge’s 8 river-facing suites offers quiet refuge in a luxurious setting with an emphasis on space and comfort, and comes complete with overhead fan, air conditioning, mini-bar and tea/coffee facilities, bath, indoor and outdoor showers as well as a private outdoor living area with a ‘refresh and relax’ pool.
The two Family Suites are spacious, modern, and beautifully appointed, set high on the ridge with sweeping views over the horizon. Each thatched, river-facing suite features two en-suite bedrooms, thoughtfully positioned on either side of a generous lounge and living area, creating both privacy and shared family space.
The suites offer both indoor and outdoor showers, air conditioning, overhead fans, a minibar, and tea and coffee facilities, including a Nespresso machine. Each suite also features a private “refresh and relax” pool, conveniently positioned within the outdoor living area.
