Little Vundu Tented Camp is situated three kilometers upstream from the main Vundu Camp, so it is well located within the boundaries of Mana Pools National Park, having its own secluded area. Little Vundu is designed for those looking for the traditional tented safari experience.
The camp is divided by a channel, over which we have a foot bridge. The tents are on one side the dining area on the other with a view of the main Zambezi River about 75 meters away. The tents are large 4m x 5 m with 2 twin beds; the bathroom is open air with thatched grass walls. The showers are bucket style and the loos are regular flush type.
Activities on offer are game drives and walks from camp in the mornings and afternoon canoeing. The camp is very active with animals. Elephants come down to drink and feed on the green grass along the channel. The wild dogs, leopards, lions and hyenas all pass through the area frequently. Little Vundu also offers excellent fishing right off the banks at camp.
