Shinde Footsteps is situated in the private Shinde Concession, one of the most diverse regions of the Okavango Delta, offering a variety of habitats: riverine forests, palm islands, permanent swamps and dry veld. This recently rebuilt camp is true to the original ‘under canvas African safari’, focusing on a true safari experience.
This intimate and comfortable bush camp offers accommodation in two twin and one family tent. The main dining area is under canvas with evenings spent relaxing around the campfire sharing stories of the day. There is a small viewing platform. The camp can be booked by individual travellers or on an exclusive basis for families or groups of friends.
Shinde Footsteps offers game drives, guided walking safaris, Mokoro excursions and motor boating.

Despite having four tents, Shinde Footsteps accommodates a maximum of six guests at any given time, ensuring an intimate and exclusive safari experience for couples, small groups, or families. The four simple yet comfortable canvas tents on decks each comprise an ensuite bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower, porcelain wash basin and wifi. Guests can choose a twin, double, or family tent with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom.
