Emboo is Asilia's newest addition, having joined the portfolio in December 2025. The camp has been operating in the heart of the Maasai Mara Reserve and is now part of the Asilia family under a long-term lease agreement built on shared values and a commitment to sustainable tourism.
This partnership makes sense: Emboo sits right in the pulse of the Mara, where the wildlife action happens daily. It's a camp for guests who want close encounters with nature, genuine connections with local Maasai communities, and fresh, locally sourced meals, all without sacrificing comfort or the planet's wellbeing.
Sustainability here isn't a talking point; it's how things work. Fully solar-powered with no backup generators, running an all-electric vehicle fleet, and recycling or reusing nearly everything on site, Emboo demonstrates what practical sustainability looks like. Guests can see it in action, from greywater systems to biogas production, and experience the difference that silent electric safaris make.
The camp blends adventure with comfort: mornings tracking wildlife, evenings around the fire, and always that connection to place that makes the Mara compelling. Emboo's team shares Asilia's commitment to doing things properly, with integrity, respect for people and place, and a focus on long-term impact.
Emboo's Family Tent comprises two separate bedrooms, each available as either double or twin configuration, with its own en-suite bathroom. The layout provides space and privacy for families travelling together, with wardrobes, writing desks, and drinks stations in each room, and a shared entrance connecting the two bedrooms.
Like Emboo's Guest Tents, the Family Tent is tucked into the tree canopy with river views, designed with natural materials and interiors inspired by the colours of the Lilac Breasted Roller. The tent accommodates families with children aged 5 years and older, offering comfortable, modern accommodation with proximity to nature.
Both bedrooms feature rain showers, private lounges, and the same attention to sustainable design that defines the camp. It's a practical option for families who want the full Emboo experience while maintaining their own space.

Emboo's Guest Tents are tucked into the tree canopy overlooking the Talek River, available as either double or twin configuration. The design is modern and comfortable, with interiors inspired by the colours of the Lilac Breasted Roller, reflecting the landscape around you.
