- Take exit 47 on the N1; follow the R44 direction Wellington
- Continue straight for approximately 24 km
- Once you see Checkers Shopping Center in front, turn left into Wellington
- At the big white church (to your left), turn right into Church Street
- Follow Church Street through and out of Wellington
- Shortly after Bovlei Cellar/Wellington Wines, turn left into Hill Road
- Immediately turn right into Bovlei Road
- At the t-junction turn right
- Continue for approximately 5 km on a gravel road all the way to the end of the valley
Directions from Doolhof Boutique Hotel
- Take the first left after the gravel road (Bovlei Road)
- Turn left into Hill Road
- Turn right onto the R301 towards Wellington Center
- At the church, turn left
- At the next set of traffic lights turn right into the R44
- Stay on the R44 for approximately 24 km until you see the ramp for the N1 (or continue straight to go to Stellenbosch)
