Huab Lodge’s eight spacious, extensively refurbished, stone and thatch bungalows - accommodating a maximum of 16 guests – are spread along the elevated north bank of the river ensuring a magnificent and private view of the Huab River Valley, even from the shower!

Each bungalow has a large private patio and is tastefully furnished with two extra-long double beds. Large windows and sliding doors allow in both light and a view across the Huab. There is in fact no need to even close the curtains – rather watch the stars and listen to the calls of owls and barking geckos as you drift off to sleep.

The Lodge provides 24-hour 220-volt power thanks to a silent solar energy plant concealed on the hill, and the chemically untreated water has a neutral pH value.

Each chalet is equipped with mosquito nets and a ceiling fan, and while there are no coffee and tea facilities inside the rooms, an early morning beverage can easily be arranged should guests request such.

This luxurious two-story honeymoon chalet, set in the heart of the African savanna, offering an intimate retreat on the banks of the ephemeral Huab River. Surrounded by breathtaking wilderness areas, the chalet seamlessly blends modern comforts with the natural beauty of its surroundings.

The spacious, open-plan design features elegant furnishings, a private balcony with sweeping views of the Huab River Valley, and large windows that invite the outdoors in. The ground floor includes a cozy lounge area and a well-appointed- kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs, the master bedroom offers panoramic views and a private balcony where guests can enjoy the sights and sounds of the African bush. This bathroom boasts a luxurious soaking tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration.

The serenity of the surrounding landscape, coupled with the luxury of the accommodations, creates an ideal escape for couples seeking a secluded and memorable experience in nature.

From Outjo you can cut off about 70kms by first heading 10km towards Okaukuejo on the C38.
Then turn left for a further 40km on the tar towards Kamanjab on the C40.
Turn left again onto the D3236 gravel road.
At the T-junction with the C35 gravel road turn north (right) toward Kamanjab for +-15km.
Just after the narrow bridge after the Huab Lodge sign board turn left on the D2670 going westward.
35km later on a road that becomes more and more breathtaking as you continue you arrive at your comfortable and inviting lodge!

Després gireu a l'esquerra durant uns 40 km més al tar cap a Kamanjab per la C40.

Drej igen til venstre ad grusvejen D3236.

Lige efter den smalle bro efter Huab Lodge-skiltet drejer du til venstre ad D2670 mod vest.

Desde Outjo, puedes cortar unos 70 km si primero te diriges 10 km hacia Okaukuejo por la C38. Después, gira a la izquierda durante 40 km más por el alquitrán hacia Kamanjab por la C40.
Vuelve a girar a la izquierda por la carretera de ripio D3236.
En el cruce en T con la carretera de ripio C35, hay que girar hacia el norte (a la derecha) hacia Kamanjab y recorrer más de 15 km.
Justo después del estrecho puente, después del letrero del Huab Lodge, gire a la izquierda por la D2670 en dirección oeste.
35 km después, por una carretera que se vuelve cada vez más impresionante a medida que continúa, ¡llegará a su cómodo y acogedor albergue!

Vanaf Outjo kun je ongeveer 70 km afslaan door eerst 10 km richting Okaukuejo te rijden op de C38.
Sla dan nog eens 40 km linksaf op de tar richting Kamanjab op de C40.
Sla weer linksaf de D3236 grindweg op.
Bij de T-splitsing met de C35 gravelweg ga je in noordelijke richting (rechts) richting Kamanjab gedurende +-15km.
Net na de smalle brug na het Huab Lodge-bord gaat u linksaf de D2670 op in westelijke richting.
35 km later op een weg die steeds adembenemend wordt naarmate u verder rijdt, komt u aan bij uw comfortabele en uitnodigende lodge!

Z Outjo można odciąć około 70 km, najpierw kierując się 10 km w kierunku Okaukuejo na C38.
Następnie skręcić w lewo przez kolejne 40 km na smole w kierunku Kamanjab na trasie C40.
Skręć ponownie w lewo na żwirową drogę D3236.
Na skrzyżowaniu T z szutrową drogą C35 skręć na północ (w prawo) w kierunku Kamanjab na +-15 km. Tuż za wąskim mostem za tablicą znaków Huab Lodge skręć w lewo na D2670 jadącym na zachód.
35 km później drogą, która staje się coraz bardziej zapierająca dech w piersiach w miarę kontynuowania, docierasz do wygodnego i zachęcającego domku!

Strax efter den smala bron efter skylten Huab Lodge sväng vänster på D2670 som går västerut. 35 km senare på en väg som blir mer och mer hisnande när du fortsätter kommer du fram till din bekväma och inbjudande lodge!
