Rio Azul is a secluded resort in Mozambique, situated on a peninsula with the Indian Ocean on one side and the banks of the Govuro River on the other side. This stylish eco-lodge is the best place to unwind and experience a wide range of beach holiday activities for all travellers.
The lodge offers accommodation which consists of 5 beach chalets and 2 luxury villas. Each chalet is en-suite with a shower and double basin. Situated along the beach shore the villas have three en-suite bedrooms as well as a loft with beds for up to 4 children or 2 adults. The villas have an additional bathroom located on the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area and its own private deck with a swimming pool.
Rio Azul’s main area consists of a lounge, dining area, a bar with a big wooden deck in front overlooking the Govuro River and a plunge pool. Located on the resort is a small shop.

The 5 elegantly styled en-suite chalets have thatched roofs, wooden floors and provide stunning views of the lagoon.
The two luxury villas, also of thatch and wooden construction, overlook the tidal lagoon from a private deck with its own pool. Divided into 3 en-suite rooms, the villa can sleep 6 adults and allows up to 4 children in the loft room.
