Located in the heart of the country’s tourism mecca of Victoria Falls, Shongwe Lookout is just 2 kilometers away from the Falls. The lodge is renowned for its lookout tower that can be accessed from two viewing platform offering stunning views of the Zambezi River and the falls.
Shongwe lookout has 23 rooms set in their tropical garden, built around the lookout tower. The lodge’s Deluxe and Executive rooms have a shower and a bath, while the Studio rooms only have a shower. All rooms are air conditioned, with a mosquito net and coffee facilities. Interlocking family rooms are available on request.
With a contemporary take on the African décor, the main area is made up of a restaurant, shared lounge and a bar. Guests can also book in a braai at the boma area or just relax by the lodge’s infinity pool.
Activities may be arranged at additional cost at the lodge and these include cruises on the Zambezi River, game drives in nearby reserves, helicopter flips over the Falls, white water rafting and so much more in this fascinating locality.
