Hut Suite
The five spacious thatched-huts at Kagga Kamma resemble the traditional dwellings of the San clans that inhabited the Reserve many years ago. Each hut has twin beds or a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom, a double sleeper couch, air-conditioner, coffee/tea making facilities, bathrobes, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.
The Sky Suite
Nestled in a rocky outcrop on one of the highest peaks of Kagga Kamma - approximately 950m above sea level - the beautiful Sky Suite offers a truly unique experience.
'Cave' Suite
Kagga Kamma offers ten unique man-made 'Cave' Suites that were skilfully constructed to integrate with the natural Sandstone formations. The facade of the 'Cave' Suites are man-made, while the back interior wall is natural sandstone. Each 'Cave' Suite has a small terrace with a view and is simply furnished with comfort in mind. The beautiful rock formations can be experienced up close in these man-made suites that blend into their environment seamlessly. Each 'Cave' is equipped with a double bed, air-conditioner, and coffee/tea making facilities, en-suite bathroom, bathrobes, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.
The Star Suite
Nestled three kilometres from the Main Lodge, with absolutely breath-taking panoramic views under the stars or sun, the Star Suite offers an unforgettable bucket-list experience.
Rock Art Tour
Take a journey back in time with our Rock Art Tour of paintings dating back 6000 years. Ancient rock art sites can be found all over Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve. These paintings were made with different colours of stone which was ground up and mixed with fat to form paint. The Reserve has expertly trained rangers who can help guests find and understand these paintings and provide more information on this fascinating culture. Guests can also expect to discover some paintings themselves along the hiking and walking trails.
Quad Bike Adventure
For more adventurous guests the Reserve offers this unique nature viewing experience. Quad Bike Safaris take place on parts of the Reserve that would otherwise be inaccessible and allow guests to enjoy not only the beautiful environment but also the excitement of riding a quad bike over the area's terrain. The Safari lasts one to two hours and is arranged on request.
Hiking
To see the Cederberg's interesting ecological features in all their glory, guests are welcome to use the self-guided hiking trails and walks on the Reserve. The rock formations and plant life that have been in the area for centuries will inspire, delight and surprise nature lovers. There are two routes, 4km (Blue)and 7km (Red) that will regenerate your soul as you escape between the surrounding towering rock formations.

The Honeymoon ‘Cave’ Suite is Kagga Kamma’s biggest and most romantic Unit, perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary, or other special occasion. The Suite has a double bed, open plan bathroom with romantic bath, air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, bathrobes and guest amenities. The terrace overlooks the beautiful fynbos plains and mountain ranges. A sandstone rock in front of your suite allows for privacy.

The Premium ‘Cave’ Suite is situated at the top furthest right end, allowing for a wide-angle view of the fynbos plains and majestic mountains in the background. The Premium ‘Cave’ has a double bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, air-conditioning, a tea and coffee station, hairdryer, bathrobes and guest amenities. The sliding door opens up out onto a small terrace, perfect for two to admire the astonishing views.

The Open-Air Suites are only available for reservations from September to April,
weather permitting.
The Sky Suite is situated on a remote rocky crag, a few kilometres from the Lodge. It is complemented with a double bed, wood-fired hot tub, open-air shower and toilet, tea and coffee making facilities, bathrobes, guest amenities and absolute privacy. At the Sky Suite guests can lie back and watch shooting stars at night and in the morning be slowly awakened by the rising sun.

The Star Suite is set on a private platform about three kilometres from the Main Lodge, amongst beautiful rock formations. With no compromise on comfort, the Suite is fitted with a queen-size bed, cosy bedding, outdoor shower, toilet, “star bath”, private rock pool, outdoor lounge, boma, tea and coffee making facilities, bathrobes and guest amenities.
