Beautifully located on the banks of the Limpopo River in Tuli, Botswana, Nokalodi Tented Camp is a delightful self-catering destination. A massive sandstone cliff where Black Eagles nest and klipspringers abound provides a superb backdrop.
Nokalodi provides 4 very comfortable safari tents (three twin and one family) each with en-suite bathroom & patio. Bedding, towels & bathroom amenities provided. A fully-equipped kitchen and boma area provide the ideal setting for relaxing, meeting friends and enjoying the beauty of the African sky.
The Northern Tuli Game Reserve is situated in the easternmost corner of Botswana. The Reserve was created in 1964 and extends to 78000 hectares, shared between private landowners and local communities. The area is home to a diverse range of wildlife, renowned for its Tuli elephants - the largest elephant population on private land in Africa, and is recognised as an Important Bird Area with over 350 species recorded. A pack of wild dog has recently been reintroduced to the reserve and there are plans to reintroduce black rhino over the next few years. The Reserve is also fascinating from a historical perspective: Bushman paintings provide a reminder of the area’s original inhabitants many thousands of years ago.
One guided game drive or walk per day is included in the rates. Additional activities such as game drives, horseback rides and community visits can be arranged through Tuli Safari Lodge which is 2km away.
