Situated opposite Sedudu Island, guests of The Raft floating restaurant can enjoy Chobe game viewing while savouring the flavours of a traditional barbecue.
The island, which proudly flies Botswana’s flag, has an abundance of bird life and is frequented by a host of larger herbivorous drawn to the lush green grass throughout the year.
The Raft has a seating capacity of 64. Lunch is served daily and includes a choice of 3 meats, salads and dessert. Two local drinks are included as there is no cash bar.
The Raft is open during the lunchtime period (11h00 till late afternoon) or as a private venue at any other time (subject to availability). Wooden tables and camping crockery and cutlery add to the relaxed atmosphere on the raft and the dining area is covered to protect against the elements.
Water transfers are available from the Flame of Africa Jetty or from the jetty of your Chobe-based lodge at an additional fee.
