Namushasha River Lodge offers an unspoilt African experience with scenic surroundings. Namushasha allows you to discover distant lands that lie off the beaten track, not to mention the beauty of Nambia’s wilderness and richness of fauna. The West Caprivi Game Park is three minutes away by boat or 30km by vehicle.
Accommodation consists of 24 en-suite bungalows, all fitted with mosquito nets.
The lodge is situated on the banks of the Kwando River, overlooking a tranquil hippo pool, with over 300 recorded bird species in abundance. The lodge has a small pool, bar, deck, curio shop and buffet restaurant.
Activities offered at the lodge are boat and fishing trips on the Kwando River and game drives into the West Caprivi Game Park. Hiking trails into the surrounding environs are available for guests who want to explore on foot and there is a surprisingly abundant variety of birdlife, fauna and flora. Other attractions in the area include Mudumo and Mamili Parks, Lizauli Traditional Village and Mashi Craft Centre. (All activities are at an additional cost)
