Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge is situated on a private concession in the Okavango Delta, adjacent to the Moremi Game Reserve. The lodge is surrounded by an abundant array of wildlife and sweeping grass plains.
Sandibe’s architecture is breath taking- it is built in the shape of a pangolin, using cedar shingles to imitate the tough overlapping of its scales as well as curved pine beams.  The buildings are elevated and carefully built around the existing trees. Uncluttered and elegant, the lodge features a copper palette, with natural rusty tones. Copper-clad mekoros, sculpted wooden tables and intricate baskets celebrate the very best of Botswana craft.
Drawing their inspiration directly from nature, the 12 suites (including a family unit) are elevated above their surroundings, gazing out onto the Okavango Delta plains. The architecture transforms a suite to a private cocoon, with a fireplace providing warmth and light in winter. The en suite bathroom features copper plated basins and an indoor and outdoor shower.  Guests can relax on the private veranda with a plunge pool and seating area. 
The main area is a series of decks descending to the boma area. There is an interactive kitchen in the main dining area, with an upstairs bar and lounge. A small gym and massage sala are set slightly to the side. The curio shop is well stocked and worth a visit. Sandibe is an eco-friendly, biodegradable lodge with a well thought through eco power recycle process.

Activities include game drives in open 4 x 4 safari vehicles, spot-lit night game drives in the private concession with experienced guides and a Motswana tracker. For guests keen on walking, this is offered on request, subject to availailbity. Sandibe offers abundant bird watching opportunities with over 340 species recorded.
