Camp Mana is situated within Mana Pools National Park on a bend in the Zambezi River with a small floodplain between the camp and the main channel. The focus at Camp Mana is to immerse guests onto a wilderness experience with minimal impact on the environment.
The camp consists of 6 ground level en suite meru style tents with flush loo’s and hot showers. A hand basin is provided in the bathroom as well as on the veranda. Each year the camp is taken down so the vegetation can recover and then erected again before opening in April.
Camp Mana’s open, ground level, canvas covered main area, features a communal lounge and dining area with sweeping views across the Zambezi River and mountains of the northern escarpment. The camp also has a souvenir shop with branded safari items.
Camp Mana is a seasonal camp and only set up camp from April to November.
