Mankwe Bush Lodge is situated on a private concession amongst shady camel thorn and mopane trees, offering close proximity to both Chobe National Park and Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta.
Mankwe Bush Lodge offers incredible value, especially for those wishing to self-drive. There are eight classic tented chalets elevated to reveal a grand view of the mopane bush below. Each chalet has its own en-suite bathroom and warm-water shower, as well as a private deck on which guests can spend time relaxing. The chalets are set apart from one another, and offer tranquil settings surrounded by a canopy of natural forest.
The main camp facilities encompass the lounge, bar, dining tent which extends through to the outdoor boma and swimming pool.
Mankwe Bush Lodge is well placed in an area revered for its plentiful wildlife. Other than daytrips into the Moremi Game Reserve and afternoon or night drives on the Mankwe private concession, activities further afield may also be arranged and include full daytrips to the Khwai area, mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions and boat cruises. All activities must be booked in advance and all are at additional cost.
Please note that a GPS is highly recommended to undertake any self-drive trip and it is also recommended that any expedition driving outside the main routes should be undertaken with more than one vehicle for safety reasons, as the area is untamed wilderness.

In total, there are 10 tented suites. Tents are built on raised wooden platforms, each with their own private viewing deck. Expansive bedrooms offer a configuration of two twins or a king-sized bed. Bathrooms are ensuite with a shower, and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness through the canvas windows.
Guests can relax in the knowledge that each suite has a fan for cooling off during the sizzling summer months. The main area comprises a small swimming pool surrounded by wooden decking that flows through to a pool bar area. The deck area is adorned with deck chairs,
and a sheltered section for relaxing.
