Mogotlho - meaning 'camel thorn tree' and pronounced similar to "more-hoto",is located directly on the Khwai River in the Mababe area, generally a good game viewing area.
Mogotlho has thirteen comfortable en-suite river facing Meru tents. Each tent has its own wooden deck with deck chairs, an en-suite shower and a double basin. At the centre of the camp is a thatched-roof dining and lounge area, which leads out on to an elevated viewing deck overlooking the narrow river.
The Khwai River area, is rich with wildlife, so the focus here is on game driving. As the river itself is immediately in front of the lodge's viewing platform, the game often comes to drink here and can be seen from the lodge.
Activities offered include day and night game drives, bush walks and a village visit can be arranged for those wanting to meet the people of Mababe.
Additional activities offered include mokoro (water level dependent) and Moremi Day trips (at an additional cost and must be pre-booked)
