Exclusive, secluded and stately, Makweti Safari Lodge is located in the pristine, malaria-free, Welgevonden Private Reserve in the Limpopo Province.
Just five stately stone and thatch suites reflect the rich colours and textures of the earth. Suites are a study in cream fabrics, highlighted with hand painted accents and dark furnishings along with slipper, baths and outdoor showers.
Private teak decks afford views into the far distance, some with private plunge pools and a secluded sala inviting you to relax, read and soak up the surrounding stillness.
Open to the wild, no fences interrupt the natural flow of the game - Makweti has a simple philosophy of living in harmony with a deep respect for all that us untamed and untouched.
