Nokanyana is situated in the Khwai area of Botswana. Nokanyana meaning “little river”, speaks to the camp’s location on the banks of the Khwai river, overlooking the confluence of the seasonal Khwai and Mababe rivers.
Ten spacious en-suite tents are set on the banks of the Khwai river ensuring a panoramic view of the bush around them. The 7 double/ twin tents and 3 family units, all have an indoor and outdoor shower as well as a small veranda where guests can relax.
The thatched main area offers a large dining room, bar and lounge space. There is an open deck overlooking the river, with a fire pit and the boma area located in front of the camp by the waters’ edge. The camps’ neutral décor pallet with earthy accent colours blends into its surroundings. For warmer days, guests can relax by the swimming pool with sun loungers.
Activities on offer include morning and afternoon game drives, birding, as well as a village tour. Heli flips can be booked at an additional cost. Bush walks need to be booked in advance.

The luxury rooms are light and airy and have 2x three quarter beds (convert to king on request) and have bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, twin sinks and WC. The luxury rooms have a river facing view.
The family rooms comprise of two bedrooms and one bathroom. The main bedroom has 2x three quarter beds that convert to a king and the second bedroom is adjoining the main room and has 2x single beds, which can be made into a triple upon request. The family rooms have a bush facing view.
