Koro River Camp is situated on the banks of the Limpopo River, shaded by huge riverine trees, in the heart of the Tuli Game Reserve. The reserve boasts vast, wild vistas, plentiful game and brilliant night skies.
Seven elegant en-suite tents, one a family room, sit atop slightly elevated decks, all with river views and private plunge pools. Each room is en-suite with indoor baths and outdoor showers. Furnishings and décor reflect a combination of modern comforts and wilderness ethos.
The main camp area has a large lounge and library tent filled with interesting books and a cosy fireplace for chilly evenings. Meals are served on the outdoor dining deck or around a crackling fire in the open air boma, weather permitting. A dining tent is utilised in colder or rainy weather. A small spa nestles beneath a giant fig tree and a gift shop complete the main area.
Game drives and guided bush walks afford guests the opportunity to explore rare riverine forests, ancient stone formations with rich archaeological history and the beauty of the Limpopo River. The reserve is home to elephant, elusive predators, numerous antelope species and a myriad of bird life.
