The renowned Duba Plains Camp is situated in Botswana's Okavango Delta on a 33,000-hectare private concession which typifies the region’s unique landscape. The camp is surrounded by expansive seasonally flooded plains and shaded by tall ebony, fig and mangosteen trees.
Amongst the camp’s of 5 bespoke design tents, is the Duba Plains Suite. The Suite is an intimate private two bedroom tended villa on a raised deck. At the centre of the Suite is a lounge and dining area. Each of the two bedrooms have their own private veranda with a plunge pool and a shaded outdoor sala. The en-suite facilities consist of a toilet, double basins, an indoor and outdoor shower and a luxurious bath.
Staying at the suite clients are offered a private vehicle, a guide, a host and a chef. Activities offered include game drives (day and night), guided walks and boating excursions in the delta when water levels permit.
Game viewing in the dry season at Duba Plains is a dramatic experience as the vast open grasslands are often isolated from the mainland by deep waterways, thus creating the perfect hunting ground.
