Divava Okavango Lodge and Spa is nestled amongst majestic trees on the banks of the Okavango River a few hundred metres from Popa Falls. It is fondly referred to by the locals as Paradishi Ghomumbiru or Little Paradise.
Divava offers twenty chalets each with a large deck, located on a high river bank, providing an incredible view over the Okavango River. All chalets are air-conditioned and contain a spacious bathroom, with bathtub, indoor and outdoor showers and a separate toilet.
The main area contains a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and viewing deck. Lodge facilities also include an open-sided spa with a view for relaxing in the steam room, cooling off in the splash-pool or having a treatment done by one of the therapists. (treatments at an additional cost)
There are excellent opportunities for bird watching in the area and the lodge is only 14kms from the Mahango Game Reserve which is celebrated for its abundance of game species such as elephant, buffalo, sable and roan antelope, bushbuck, reedbuck and tsessebe.
Optional activities offered at an additional cost include boat cruises to the Popa Falls and game drives in the Mahango Game Reserve or Buffalo Game Park (depending on the season). Mokoro trips, fishing and village tours are equally popular.
