Nunda River Lodge is situated only two kilometres west of the Popa Falls. The Popa Falls are more like rapids than a waterfall, with the Kavango River breaking through a four metre high rocky intrusion amidst islands dotted with pristine forests and surrounded by aquatic vegetation.
Accommodation consists of 7 en suite tented chalets and 10 large en suite thatched bungalows, each with its own deck. To the back of the main area are several chalets which are not river facing. The lodge also has 9 grassed campsites.
The main complex consists of a thatched restaurant, bar, curio shop, lounge and reception area. A large wooden deck overlooks the river and it is here where one can enjoy sundowners while watching spectacular sunsets. The restaurant offers a fine variety of Namibian cuisine complimented by a large selection of excellent wines from the wine cellar. Nunda River Lodge has a large swimming pool set amongst a well-manicured garden.
Activities include guided game drives, boat cruises, angling expeditions and traditional Mokoro canoe trips down the river. Guided birding and nature walks are a rewarding experience, as are the cultural walks through traditional villages. Daily game drives to the Mahangu and Bwabwato National Parks are conducted in an open vehicle. (All activities at an additional cost)

All bungalows have en suite bathrooms and can accommodate two people. The little patio overlooks the Okavango River with lush surrounding vegetation. One family unit available for a family. Four non-river facing bungalows complete the offering.
All seven Meru tents have en suite facilities and are situated directly above the Okavango River.
