Situated in Rundu on the banks of the Okavango River and overlooking Southern Angola and the surrounding flood plains, Kavango River Lodge offers the visitor travelling through Namibia's far northeast a revitalising and comfortable stopover on the long journey between Windhoek, Botswana and the Victoria Falls.

Accommodation consists of chalets, each with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, linen, television and en-suite facilities. There is also a campsite. Breakfast and meals can be enjoyed in the restaurant with its breathtaking view overlooking the river and floodplains.

Kavango River Lodge is the ideal place for nature and bird watchers and activities include canoe and fishing trips, sunset cruises on the river (subject to water levels) and bird watching.
