Ndhovu Safari Lodge is a peaceful riverine retreat, situated on the western banks of the Okavango River, overlooking the well-known Caprivi Game Park (Bwabwata National Park).
Accommodation consists of fully equipped tents with en-suite bathroom facilities. For the adventurous, there is a River tent with a small deck, on the water and in close proximity to hippos and crocodiles.
Ndhovu’s thatched main area overlooks the banks of the river, where elephants and hippo sometimes congregate, providing residents outstanding game and bird-viewing opportunities whilst enjoying sundowners at the bar and delicious three course meals.
Activities offered at the lodge include sun downer cruises, fishing excursions, village tours and game drives whilst the birdlife in the area will satisfy the most ardent birder.
The Mahango Game reserve is a mere 2 km away, offering excellent opportunities to view elephant, buffalo, red lechwe and sable antelope, to name a few, in typical riverine and swampland habitat.
Ndhovu Houseboat called “Hippo”, accommodates 4 people on an all – inclusive 2 or 3 day safari.

Each meru-style tent is fully equipped with private en-suite bathroom (shower) only and a bedside view over the river.
The two river suites offer a completely unique accommodation accommodation option, right at water level. With a king size-bed, en-Suite bathroom with shower and bathtub, mosquito net, coffee-/tea facilities, bar fridge, and private wooden terrace with fantastic view onto the Buffalo Park.
Our land suites, with uninterrupted views over the Okavango River and the Bwabwata National Park, offer unparalleled peace and tranquility. These brick and thatch luxury suites offer river-front accommodation for up to four people, mosquito nets, a shower, a small kitchenette, tea and coffee station.
