Expeditions Camp is a classic expedition-style safari camp set deep within the Northern Okavango Delta’s remote NG12 Concession.
The camp is seasonal and open from April to early January. Annual floodwaters from Angola transform the landscape into a shimmering network of waterways, ideal for mokoro excursions, boating and scenic flights.
Pitched beneath shady ebony trees beside a seasonal floodplain, the Camp comprises just eight semi-permanent Meru-style tents with 3 double and 5 twin rooms. Built directly on the forest floor, the camp creates an intimate connection with the surrounding wilderness while remaining comfortable and refined. Each tent features antique furnishings, Persian rugs and a fully plumbed en-suite bathroom with hot water, flush loo and indoor shower. A private deck overlooks the floodplains, offering a peaceful space to relax and observe the Delta’s ever-changing light.
The central mess tent is the heart of camp life, with relaxed dining, a small library and fireside evenings under the stars. Ideal for exclusive-use bookings, Expeditions is rugged, refined and deeply connected to its setting, it brings safari back to its origins: under canvas, around firelight, and fully immersed in the wild.

Eight semi-permanent Meru-style tents are thoughtfully positioned beneath shady ebony trees, resting directly on the levelled forest floor for a closer connection to the bush. The camp comprises three double tents and five twin tents, each comfortably appointed with four-poster beds, antique furnishings, Persian rugs and rich textiles that create a warm, nostalgic feel. Every tent features a fully plumbed en-suite bathroom with flush loo, indoor shower and hot water, as well as plug points for charging devices, ensuring comfort without losing the spirit of expedition travel. A private deck opens onto the surrounding floodplains, offering a peaceful place to pause and watch the Delta shift with the light.
