Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assuring a year-round water wilderness experience. Camp Okavango is a romantic and peaceful haven, offering an idyllic getaway.
Camp Okavango consists of eleven guest suites and one family suite. The rooms are approximately 80m2 in size and are elevated off the ground, allowing for expansive views out over the Okavango Delta. Each room encompasses a lounge area, bedroom area and expansive en suite bathroom. The rooms open up to the front completely with stacking doors leading out onto a large private deck. The bathroom includes a double vanity, double shower and separate toilet.
All rooms are connected to the main lodge area by means of elevated walkways through the trees and vegetation of Nxaragha Island.
All game-viewing activities are conducted by experienced professional guides and include exploring the Okavango Delta by mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) and motorboat. Guided nature walks on the various islands afford an opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness. Bird watching opportunities are outstanding, and fishing for bream and tiger fish is also offered.
Airstrip Transfer Time: 5 minute walk; however please note that during the wet season the airstrip can get flooded in which case alternative arrangements will be made.
